Using My Mac as a DVR

I've recently found good way to use my Mac as a DVR! I use an Elgato EyeTV HD ...

... to pull TV programs off a Verizon FiOS set-top box and put recordings of them in my iTunes library. The recordings will then stream to my Apple TVs and also my iPad and iPhone!
